We are developing an online resource platform to educate, connect and mobilise people about endangered species and the action they can take in their local rohe / area.
For communities and the sector to measure progress and success of projects nationally, a website which is optimised for mobile, will be developed to give people a centralised knowledge platform where users can access educational resources and track biodiversity progress.
The extent of the threat to Aotearoa’s endangered species is immediate and impacts thousands of species. Each classification is illustrated on this map, produced in 2018 by Dr Mike Thorsen, Endangered Species Foundation, Chief Scientist.
