We are so happy to let you know that the awesome team at Boh Runga Jewellery are donating $10 of every egglet dish sale to The Endangered Species Foundation. There are also two gift sets to go with the dish and each Tara Iti gift set sold will also gift $10 to our kaupapa.
In cooperation with Lil Ceramics, Boh Runga Jewellery have created the Tara Iti Egglet Dish, which is made from a white stoneware clay with a speckled glaze to replicate the Tara Iti egg.
The Tara Iti is one of our rarest and most threatened bird species and Boh Runga Jewellery have made the Egglet Dish to put a spotlight on this wee bird and help raise awareness about the threats it faces.
"We are so grateful for this support," says Endangered Species Foundation General Manager, Natalie Jessup. "We are at a really crucial time for our most endangered species, so to have a really beautiful taonga like this, to draw attention to the tara iti and what needs to be done to ensure it's survival is huge for us."
